​Project description:
This boutique hotel is in Inner west suburb’s business district surrounded by federation style buildings, however behind is high density zone hence many high-rise apartments, this hotel is in a key transitional zone, the proportion and style must be in harmony with the high-rise modern buildings and single or double storeys federation house on the south and west side! Our approach is to have a pitch roof form but within it possess modern version of the bay window, taken elements from federation houses but still represent it in a modern way. Timber louvers created a calm affect also a playful light and shade! The two storey and a pitch roof acting as very appropriate transitional scale between the three-storey modern building on its north side and one storey federation house on its south side. The hotel has its own cinema entertainment room, and each room is very spacious with ensuite.
